core switch ar-7280-1 firmware update & failover
Further job will be rescheduled.
We identified issue with out vm cluster failover, second switch upgrade and reload will be postponed until resolution. Currently all systems are up.
switch #1 upgraded successfully, moving to switch #2.
starting
preparations: copied new image to switches 1 & 2. connected oob serial connection to switch 1. backed-up configurations.
We will perform firmware update according to recommendation from vendor (Arista), the switches configured in mlag and vrrp failover, during firmware upgrade switch will have to do reboot and during the reboot the traffic will failover to second core switch ar-7280-2. During maintenance we expect up to 2 minutes outage. In case of failure in failover we expect up to 10 minutes of outage. Thanks.
